Focus on our upcoming calls – a word from our director

2024 is ending and our final newsletter this year is almost entirely focused on our upcoming calls – while the calls do not open until January, we have already published the final call texts and updated guidance documents to help you in the preparation of a good proposal. Registration for the info sessions is already open, do put them in your calendar!

IHI is also managing the impressive legacy from the earlier IMI and IMI2 partnerships; this month the MOBILISE-D project tells the story of how their work to develop clinically validated biomarkers of real-world walking patterns for diseases such as Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis is now being incorporated in several commercial products – paving the way for widespread use. We also report on the bibliometric analysis of the scientific publications from our projects, and it is rewarding to see that our collaborative, cross-sectorial approach is the driver of strong scientific impacts.

The IHI offices are closed over the holidays, and on behalf of the whole IHI team I would like to thank everyone involved with the programme for all the good collaborations, interesting discussions and exciting projects, and wish you many merry moments over the festive season.

Niklas Blomberg, IHI Executive Director
